§ 40-450. Individual meters for each structure.

  • Every structure or dwelling or building under one roof occupied by any person, firm or corporation or family shall have an individual water meter and the occupant or owner of the premises shall pay for the water or service used or supplied to each such structure, dwelling or building. Should any meter fail to register properly, or if no meter is used, the amount of water used by each such structure, dwelling, or building may be averaged by another meter, or for another month, but in no event shall less than the minimum charge be made and collected for such structure, building or dwelling for each calendar month that water or service is used or supplied to such structure, building or dwelling.
