§ 6-298. Retailers dealing with wholesalers; registration of wholesalers.

(a)

No retailer of alcoholic beverages in the city shall purchase or otherwise receive alcoholic beverages for any wholesaler not registered under this section. Any retailer failing to comply with this requirement shall be subject to revocation of any and all city business licenses held by the retailer and any other penalty which may be imposed for violation of this Code.

(b)

Unless licensed by the city, no wholesaler in alcoholic beverages shall take orders from or make deliveries to any retailer in alcoholic beverages within the city unless and until the wholesaler registers with the city clerk on a form provided by the city and otherwise satisfies the requirements of this article placed on such wholesalers.
